Six local groups have come together to form the Tippecanoe Voting Alliance (TVA), an alliance of non-partisan organizations in Tippecanoe County working together to GET OUT THE VOTE.

In this time of COVID-19, LWV members advocate for safe voting. Hoosiers should not be asked to choose between exercising their right to vote and risking their health.

Candidate debates are scheduled for the following races:

  • Tippecanoe County Council (broadcast date TBD)
  • Indiana House Distrct 13 (broadcast date TBD)
  • Indiana House District 25 (broadcast date TBD)
  • Tippecanoe County Judges live-stream September 29

Candidate interviews will be conducted for:

If you don't register to vote, in Indiana you CANNOT vote in this state.  While many states offer same day registration even on election day, Indiana does not. 

Regisering to vote is the first step you must take to exercise your constitutional rights to vote.    

Since 2006, VOTE411 has been a one-stop-guide for election information sponsored by LWVUS. Services include information for all states on voter registration, absentee ballots, early voting options, ID requirements, online registration tool, and so much more.

The Legislative Breakfast provides community groups and constituents with the opportunity to ask questions and outline their collective concerns to a group of lawmakers and legislative leaders.

The League of Women Voters of Greater Lafayette will be hosting its Annual Legislative Breakfast on February 15, 2020 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am at Judi's Catering & Banquet Facility, 101 Plaza Lane, Lafayette.
