Greater Cleveland

The League of Women Voters of Greater Cleveland serves voters in Cuyahoga County and has ten chapters to serve local municipalities: Bay Village, Cleveland, Cleveland Heights-University Heights, East Cleveland, Fairview Park, Hillcrest, Lakewood, Rocky River, Shaker Heights, and Westlake-North Olmsted.

Since 1920, the League of Women Voters has been a leader in empowering voters and defending democracy. 

All LWVGC events will be virtual until in-person events are again safe for public health.

Election Protection 2020
News

ELECTION PROTECTION is a coalition of voting rights organizations (Including LWV) organizing and training volunteers to help voters on and before Election Day. There is a range of activities from promoting the 866 OUR VOTE hotline (Ambassadors), monitoring polls on Election Day for questions and problems (Poll Monitors), monitoring social media for misinformation (Social Media Monitors), resolving issues arising at polls (Command Center Volunteers – legal experience preferred), and working for the board of elections as an Election Day Poll Worker (you get paid for this).
